Intent (curriculum design, coverage and appropriateness) :
We learn key skills such as using a mouse and a keyboard on a computer. We also learn iPad skills. We follow units about computing systems and networks, programming, data and information and creating media.
Implementation (curriculum delivery, teaching and assessment):
We use the Teach Computing resources to support planning and teaching across KS1. We use tools such as Purple Mash and Scratch to support our learning. We also use practical resources such as BeeBots, digital cameras and a green screen.
Impact (attainment and progress):
We learn the basic foundations to support the wider curriculum. We become confident using a variety of tools. We learn skills to prepare us for later life such as using a mouse and a keyboard. We become responsible users.
