Burnham On Sea Infant School Newsletter    17th March 2025

{item_alt_tag}

It has been a busy few weeks with lots of lovely learning going on across the school.

A massive WELL DONE to all the year 2 children who took part in the Highbridge Festival Poetry performance. Your confidence was lovely to see.

We are so proud of you all!   Congratulations to Pelican Class who were awarded the Dorothy Reaney Trophy

We are enjoying being able to share photos and updates about learning with you through the new Reach More Parents app. Please ask in the school office if you are not yet logged on to the system.

It has been lovely to see so many parents join us for our pre-school chat, play and connect sessions on a Friday morning.  Sessions are completely free - come and join us 9am - 10.30am each week.

Currently we have incubating chick eggs in school and the children have been spending time in the pond area studying the frog spawn to support their understanding of life cycles. It is lovely to see the signs of early Spring.

Thank you for supporting Hats On for Hydrocephalus on Friday - it was lovely to see so many hats of different shapes and sizes.  We raised an amazing £117.60 for Shine.  Thank you.

Please remember it is Red Nose Day this coming Friday so children are all invited to wear non-uniform, with monetary donations all going to support Comic Relief.
